Center for Living Arts

The Center for Living Arts will be holding auditions for its Youth Theatre Company on Saturday, February 6th at 10am at the Center for Living Arts. All outgoing and fun loving children ages 4th grade thru high school are encouraged to audition! Auditions will consist of cold readings and acting exercises.

The Center will cast approximately 10-15 people to rehearse and perform for area youth and their families as an outreach of the Center for Living Arts; bringing live, fun and meaningful theatre performed BY children FOR children to the Quad Cities community. The Company will work on a small repertoire of shows to be performed at the Center and at schools, churches and community groups. Rehearsals will be primarily on Saturday mornings, but may include a few other evenings as needed for extra rehearsals and performances.

The Center for Living Arts has sent over 50 students into the world of professional theatre in the last year including Circa 21 and the national tour of the Wizard of Oz.
